Bio
I have been an avid observer all of my life. I was introduced to images and photography as a child by an artistic mother. Photography was an early interest. It allowed me to document my observations.
Upon graduation from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) with a BAA and the rudiments of a professional technique, I continued to pursue my passion for photography.
An introduction to food photography gave me a new focus. I changed my practice to fine art.
I have shown at: Engine Gallery, Scarborough Arts Council, Gallery 44, and once at the Art Gallery of Ontario group show.
I have published in both Canadian and international publications. Most recently published in 2021. My portraits appeared in PhotoED Magazine and 3 separate online exhibitions in Analog Forever Magazine, from 2021 to 2023.
I love using analog film, and I also work in digital picture making as well. I use humour in my work when I can.
